August 21, 2013 Meaningful Work Is Your Job, TooFinding meaning at work — it's a hot topic these days, as it should be. Those of us who are lucky enough to love our jobs perform better and feel less stressed than those of us who don't. So it's important to find ways to make work more meaningful for everyone. Unfortunately, most of the discussion has focused on what businesses should do help us become more engaged and purpose-driven. Yes, managers can play a huge role in our work lives, but they can only do so much; we need to step up our game and take ownership of the problem as well.
