Learning How to Code is a Good Way to Boost Your Résumé

With many MBAs moving on to work at tech companies, learning how to code is becoming an important skill. Even some basic knowledge can help — especially at cash-strapped startups. For one, it's much easier to talk shop with developers when you have working knowledge of their language. The more you know, the less likely it will be that tech speak would become an obstacle. And knowing what questions to ask, and when to ask them, can go a long way toward making a project run smoothly. Plus, with so many bright-eyed applicants — both MBAs and non-MBAs — looking to enter the tech field, knowing how to code can demonstrate one's seriousness for the job.
