Strengths are Underrated

Performance evaluations are flawed because they focus too much on our shortcomings. The best way to improve is not to address our weaknesses. Strength-based systems are more fruitful because of the way the brain works: we grow the most new synapses in areas that are already dense with synapses. In other words, existing pathways create more pathways. The same goes for work. The more we focus on our strengths, the more opportunities we'll create.
