Airlines Need to Start Telling It Straight

Traveling is never easy. Something always seems to go wrong — especially at airports. Flight delays are the biggest headaches of all. The airlines, of course, can't control mother nature or mechanical problems, but they can provide better and more helpful information. Travelers just want to know what's happening, whether about delays or procedures, yet airlines seem loathe to oblige. The lack of transparency is what causes frustration. To keep unhappiness to a minimum, airlines should train their staff to be more upfront with travelers, and to be clearer about their policies.
