Leadership and Management Should Go Hand in Hand


President Obama and his team showed great leadership when they shepherded the Affordable Health Act through a divisive Congress. But their execution, to put it mildly, has been lacking, and they've completely mismanaged the rollout of the website. Great leadership, bad management: it's a common problem that stretches far beyond politics. Entrepreneurs fall victim to it. So do execs. They push new ideas at the expense of smart execution.
