Corporate Use of Social Media Will Expand in 2014


Social media has gone through a couple of stages inside companies. The first stage was all about using new tools and services to enhance collaboration among teams. The second stage saw companies focusing more on the business side of social media — customer service, marketing, and communications. Now, we've entered into a third stage as more and more companies encourage employees to use their personal accounts to endorse the brand, and to speak directly to customers.
