How Entrepreneurs Should Assess the Attractiveness of a Market


For entrepreneurs, success depends a lot on the attractiveness of a market. So what should entrepreneurs be on the lookout for? Size and growth potential, for sure. And mega-trends. If entrepreneurs possess the foresight to notice a monumental change on the horizon (say, the shift to cloud computing) before everyone else, they will increase their odds of success. They should also access whether the market they're jumping into is fragmented (ruled by many) or concentrated (ruled by a few), and then adjust their strategies accordingly.
