More Reasons to Follow Through On Your Resolution to Exercise

The start of the new year is when a lot of us make a resolution to exercise more. But then we get busy, work intervenes, and we don't follow through. But making time to exercise, even if your schedule is jam-packed, can improve your work-life balance according to new research. First, exercising can reduce stress. And when our minds are more at ease, we're more productive inside and outside of work. Second, exercising improves our self-efficacy — meaning, we're more likely to have a positive sense of well-being, to tackle more personal and work-related tasks, and to take on more challenging work.
